A man is in police custody today after he led them on a low-speed chase throughout East Waco.

Late last night, Roderick Dugas, 43, was arguing with a convenience store clerk at the intersection of Herring and Gholson in Waco.

The clerk called the cops who showed up only to see Dugas getting into his car and leave the scene.

That’s when police say Dugas led them on a low-speed chase.

Officers used a spike strip to slow the car.

Police say Dugas was combative when approached.

Officers tased the man and arrested him onsite.

He is now being charged with evading and resisting arrest.
