Authorities investigate shooting at Waco convenience store

Waco police are investigating a Monday night confrontation that turned into an alleged shooting.

At around 5:00 p.m., three men were at the convenience store located at 18th and Colcord when they were approached by another man known to several of the victims. The man pulled a handgun threatening to kill the three victims and then hit one of the men in the face with his pistol.

The gunman and victims got in two separate vehicles and started to leave the scene. Shortly after, the gunman started shooting at the victims’ car, striking it several times. One of the passengers in the victims’ vehicle received minor injury during the shooting, but did not require medical treatment.

No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is on-going.
