BELLMEAD - David Jackson was arrested by Bellmead Police Thursday for two counts of injury to a child. The warrant for his arrest came from an ongoing investigation into the death of a two year-old child and an injured one year-old on Oct. 16.
Police say 47 year-old Jackson knew about the infants being abused by their mother and grandmother but did not report it.
Jackson bonded out of jail Tuesday after being arrested for failure to report child abuse and was arrested again after investigation led to a warrant for him on injury to a child. The mother and grandmother are charged with capital murder.
Police say the one year-old has been released to the father.
