BRYAN -- Do you ever wish there was an easier way to find trustworthy businesses and charities?
Now there is, right at your own fingertips.
The Better Business Bureau has launched a new app for consumers that allows you to search for more than 4-million businesses by name, URL or phone.
And the app will give you unbiased information about a business including: their rating and consumer complaint history.
Bill McGuire, president of the Better Business Bureau of Brazos Valley, says the new app is a great tool for everybody because it offers information on the go.
"People are going to apps more and more and rely on those things. It's a different world these days and everyone wants that convenience factor and so the BBB has jumped into that world and made it convenient to search for trustworthy businesses."
Last year consumers turned to the Better Business Bureau 87-million times to help them find information about businesses and charities.
Now you can download the new app for free.
