Bryan -- Families directly affected by the Dyer Mill fire in Grimes County are getting some relief tonight. Food is headed their way.
The Brazos Valley Food Bank has already passed out more than 5, 200 pounds of food to more than 27 families.
Some items in the 40 pound baskets include milk, eggs, frozen meat, bread and canned food items.
Theresa Mangapora, the executive director of the food bank wants families to know there is help available. Families can receive food baskets at the Loukanis Reception Hall on Wednesday July 6, 13 and 20 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
