Bryan baseball coach arrested for relationship with student

On March 24, 2011, the Bryan Police Department received a report that a BISD staff member was having an improper relationship with a student at Rudder High School. The police department began an investigation into the matter and identified the involved persons.

The suspect was identified as Benjamin Haynes an athletic coach at the high school. A warrant was issued for his arrest and he turned himself into the Brazos County Sheriff’s office on April 7, 2011. He has a $15,000 bond for Improper Relationship Between Educator/Student and is currently out on bond.
