LORENA -- It seems like everyone is falling victim to budget cuts these days.

And now that includes the Lorena Police Department.

The Lorena City Council voted Monday to cut the department's budget forcing them to lose their only narcotics dog and their warrants officer.

Officers are also forbidden from taking police cars home and police say leaving their vehicles at the station could affect response times to emergency calls.
