"It's one of those holidays I think everyone can buy into you know, having a beer just enjoying themselves," said Kyle Nielsen, a customer at George's restaurant.

St. Patty's Day is upon us.

A day to put on your green...

"And talk a wee bit of the Irish!" said Nielsen.

And in Waco there's something for everyone.

"It's a great day tomorrow here at George's you know you got St. Patty's day which is always a fun time to hang out. We'll have green beer all day long. Big O's and Big Margarito's," said Sammy Citrano, owner George's.

If you're looking for a more family-oriented way to celebrate St. Patrick you might want to try your luck at the Cameron Park Zoo.

"For our Easy Being Green event we thought it would be really kinda interesting to tie in St. Patrick's day you know in a celebration and have people come out to the zoo and learn different things and have a green lifestyle," said Jim Fleshman, director of Cameron Park Zoo.

A total of 10 groups will be there to teach people about conserving the environment.

"We'll focus on using recycled materials. Master naturalists will be out, Master composters will be out. We'll have a girl scout group out here as well," said Fleshman.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and there's no extra cost.

Whether you drink it, or conserve it, there are plenty of ways to get your green in this Saturday.

That's not true, I had a friend who had an iallgel pet wolf up in Alaska and a Rottweiler as well. They got along ok considering that the wolf would often behave like the wild animal it was. They'd play roughly, but there was no hatred between them. Also, comparing cat's to dogs is like comparing oranges and potatoes. The kitty's like each other, it's quite obvious. There's a good video on youtube of a crow that raised and mothered a kitten a few years ago, check it out.
