City Council candidate arrested for second time
BELLMEAD -- Bellmead City Council winner and convicted felon, Adrian Huff was arrested again Tuesday.
Huff was the precinct five winner, but the city says he won't be taking filling the seat.
He is now charged with tampering with government records.
This after he didn't tell the city he was a convicted felon before running for office.
Huff told fox 44 in a previous interview he didn't see anything on the application that disqualified him to run.
He was arrested back in 1979 for stealing cars. Even after admitting to that, he still won the election.
The city asked McLennan County Sheriff's Office to investigate, leading to Huff's arrest.
