COLLEGE STATION -- A College Station bank is robbed at gun point and tonight, police are still looking for the suspect.

The robbery happened just after nine this morning when a man entered the FedStar Credit Union on Harvey Road, displayed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect was last seen heading north on foot.

As a precaution, College Station ISD temporarily placed all of its schools on a "modified lockdown" and Texas A&M issued a "code maroon," shutting down all of their buses so police could search for the suspect.

Officer Rhonda Seaton, with the College Station police department said, "He is described as a black male, about 5'10" - 5'11", 160 pounds, thin build. He was wearing denim jeans, a dark fleece colored hoodie. He also had a blue-greenish off white patterned scarf covering his face."

Police tell us the suspect was also carrying a dark Nike drawstring "swoosh" backpack with the money in it.

He's considered armed and dangerous so if you have any information regarding this robbery, please call police immediately at (979) 764-3600.
