Convicted killer denied third appeal
WACO -- After a court appearance Wednesday a convicted killer is one step closer to the death penalty.
63-year-old Billie Wayne Coble appeared in the Texas court of criminal appeals where he was denied his third appeal.
Coble has been sentenced to death row twice in McLennan County for killing his wife's parents and her brother in Axtell in 1989.
Coble was convicted of capital murder in 1990 and given the death penalty.
In 2008 he was retried and again sentenced to execution.
