FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) - A military court hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to put an Army psychiatrist on trial for a deadly rampage at Fort Hood nearly a year ago has been delayed.

The Article 32 hearing involving Maj. Nidal Hasan, which was supposed to begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday, has still not started some 2 1/2 hours later. No reason has been given for the delay.

Earlier, court officials ushered journalists into a building outside the courthouse as Hasan was taken inside.

The 40-year-old Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder in the Nov. 5 attack. It's the worst mass shooting at an American military base.
