Shoppers at a national retail store are being targeted online, in a possible give-away scheme.

Customers say they are receiving phone calls from alleged Walmart employees, requesting money so they can get their cash gift card reward. However, Walmart employers tell us they are not responsible for these phone calls.

One shopper even said the caller already had all her personal information, including the last four digits of her credit card number.

The Waco Better Business Bureau says "never give personal information over the phone. Also,  people should know that "a true sweepstakes, will not make the winner pay fees."

The BBB wants people to know that Walmart is a victim in this situation, and has nothing to do with these phone calls.

Anyone who receives similar calls should contact the Better Business Bureau.
