Killeen Police investigate drive-by shooting

Killeen Police are investigating a possible drive by shooting that occurred just after 10:00pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, in the 3000 block of Baldwin Loop.

Officers responded to 3007 Baldwin Loop after receiving a 911 call telling them someone had been shot. The officers arrived to find several people inside the residence; one male was suffering from a gunshot wound to the buttocks area just inside a bedroom. The 20 year old victim was transported to the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center where he underwent surgery; he is reported to be in critical condition. Police have no suspects identified at this time.

All information is confidential and if your tip results in the arrest of the person or persons involved in the shooting you could be eligible for a reward up to $1,000 in cash.
