Lady Bears are a No. 1 seed, first time in school history

WACO, Texas (AP) - Baylor is a No. 1 seed for the first time and playing at home to start this year's NCAA women's tournament.
The Lady Bears (31-2) will play SWAC tournament champion Prairie View (21-11) on Sunday at the Ferrell Center, where Baylor is 19-0 this season. In the other first-round game Sunday in Waco, Houston (26-5)
plays West Virginia (23-9).
Baylor was a Final Four team last season and lost to Connecticut in a national semifinal game. The Lady Bears lost by one point at Connecticut this season.
Another team in the Dallas region is Texas A&M, the No. 2 seed. Baylor is 3-0 this season against the Aggies, who jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the Big 12 championship game last weekend before the Lady Bears won.
