Last night, the Lady Bears lost against the University of Connecticut, 65-64. This game accounts for the Huskies 80th straight victory, as the two time defending national champions.

With just 8.1 seconds remaining, Huskies' Maya Moore threw up an airball, then rebounded by Baylors Melissa Jones. After rebounding the ball, she hesitated, expecting a shot-clock violation. When talking with the media, Coach Mulkey asks, "What's the rule about shot-clock violation?Aren't we supposed to get the ball out of bounds?"

Continuing with the final seconds of the game, Jones passed the ball to Sims, who then missed a final desperation shot, ending the game.

Despite some Baylor fans opinions regarding controversial rulings at the end of the game, spirits remained high on the campus today. Baylor fans say they have high hopes for the Lady Bears' future, and believe a championship is not far out of reach.
