A local drug and alcohol treatment center will be greatly reducing their number of beds, and selling the property.
The Freeman Center helps over 1,500 people a year, but now, with limited funding, they will cut their number of beds from 100 to 20.
A Freeman Center employer says they plan to raise 1.5 million dollars to open a new facility that will be better suited for the patients.
The center will not kick anybody needing treatment out of the program, but the number of people they will be able to treat will be greatly reduced.
