TEMPLE -- A man is in the hospital with life threatening injuries after wrecking a friend's motorcycle late Sunday night.
It happened in the 600 block of Turley Dr. Police say 31-year-old Rafael Robles borrowed a motorcycle and may have been drinking when he hurt himself in a crash.
The motorcycle itself had been removed from the scene by the owner, who had let Robles borrow it. Officers were able to locate the owner and motorcycle shortly after arriving at the scene.
The initial investigation revealed that Robles may have been intoxicated, and was an inexperienced rider. He therefore crashed shortly after being allowed to borrow it.
No one else was injured in the crash.
