LACY LAKEVIEW -- A Lacy Lakeview man is in jail tonight for allegedly pulling out a knife and hitting a woman and a child with a blunt object multiple times.
It happened on the 600 of East Craven Avenue around 9:30 Monday morning.
An argument escalated quickly, putting the woman and the child in danger.
"What's alleged is that the argument escalated, he struck the woman victim and the toddler victim with a blunt object and they required medical attention from that," Chief Dennis Stapleton with Lacy Lakeview Police Department said.
Rashard Tyrone Easley, 28, is now in the McLennan County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and injury to a child charges.
The relationship between Easley and the victims is unknown, but they were out of the hospital by that afternoon.
