Man shot during Robbery in North Waco apartment complex.

Waco officers were called to a robbery of a person Tuesday night at 10:00 p.m. in the 1100 block of N. 6th.

When police arrived, they found 34-year old Thomas Barber had been shot in the leg during the robbery.

Barber, who was visiting a friend at the apartments, was approached by three men who asked Barber for money.  When Barber tried to walk away he was hit by one of the suspects in the head. One of the other men then fired a bullet into his leg. All three suspects then fled on foot.

Officers along with sheriff's deputies searched the area for the robbers, but were not able to make any arrests.

Thomas Barber was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

Waco Police continue to investigate the robbery.
