COLLEGE STATION -- A Navasota man is in jail tonight on four different charges all because a concerned citizen called College Station police after watching the man try to break into cars.

When officers arrived at the Landmark Apartments Tuesday, they found 22-year-old Anthony Harris coming out of one of the units.

When officers began questioning Harris, he admitted he had 2.3 grams of marijuana and crack cocaine was found in his pocket.

Police then searched a vehicle after witnesses said they'd seen Harris getting in and out of it numerous times.

"They were wondering possibly if there might have been some stolen merchandise or whatever in the vehicle so they searched the vehicle and in that process they found what was later to be identified as PCP and they also found some powder cocaine," said Officer Rhonda Seaton.

Harris is in the Brazos County Jail on $58,000 bail.

He's facing three different controlled substance charges as well as possession of marijuana.
