FORT HOOD -- The Fort Hood shooter's attorney did not make the announcement that was expected this afternoon on whether or not Maj. Nidal Hasan will be court-martialed. Hasan's attorney, John Galligan, was supposed to make the announcement today after speaking with Hasan about recommendations made by a three person health panel who met with him in jail.
Col. Morgan Lamb has the psychological recommendations made by the health panel, but Hasan's attorney said no statements will be made until Col. Lamb evaluates the health board's decision.
Galligan told Fox 44 that his criticisms of the board still stand in regards to it being made up of military personnel along with evidence and timing.
Hasan is charged with 13 counts of pre-meditated murder and 32 counts of attempted pre-meditated murder for thethe Nov. 5th shooting rampage at Fort Hood.
