WACO -- Waco police have identified the men responsible for the multiple robberies throughout the city in which the men con victims out of their money and belongings.

Also known as the "Pigeon Drop" case.

As it turns out, San Antonio police have been working similar cases and now, detectives are working with San Antonio to bring the three men to justice.

This all spun off of a traffic stop a Waco officer made earlier this month in which they were able to get enough evidence that tied them to the previous robberies which now warrants their arrest.

"An officer saw them and thought that they were up to something. Watched them for a while, recognized that they matched the description of the 'Pigeon Drop' guys. Did a traffic stop and they had evidence in the car indicating that that's what they were trying to do again," Sgt. Patrick Swanton with Waco Police said.

Charles Anthony Smith is currently in Bexar County Jail but the two other suspects are at large.

They are Robert Smith, 54, and Roy Lee Wallace, Jr, 33.

If you have any information regarding the men's whereabouts please contact Waco police.
