One person robbed in Waco gym parking lot

Police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a gym in Waco.

At around 8:15 p.m., officers responded to a robbery call at the Gym X in the 6000 block of  West Waco Drive. A twenty-eight year old victim told police that he had been attacked by two Hispanic males, who took his property and then ran from the scene.

The victim says he was getting into his car when he was rushed by two men. The two robbers started hitting the victim in the head and demanded money. They took the victims’ backpack which contained property and money and then headed toward the parking lot, running north. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The robbers are described as in their early twenties, medium build, one wearing a red hoodie and the other a black hoodie.

Witnesses say they saw the robbers in the parking lot before the robbery and were acting suspicious.

Waco P.D. would like to remind our citizens to please report any suspicious activity to business owners or to contact Waco Police when this behavior is observed.

The case is undergoing investigation. No arrests have been made.
