With over two million supporters, PETA is the largest animal rights organization in the world. Today, even in the pouring rain, they protested for what they believe in. Ashley Byrne, PETA campaigner, says "PETA works to protect animals and educate people about how cruelty free lifestyle isn't just the best option for animals, its the best option for our environment and for our own health."

Members typically choose to live "green" and go vegan. A local taxidermist says those lifestyles simply do not work for everyone. Becky Phillips, Taxidermist, says "with all their anti-meat and stuff, that's hurting our farmers. and ranchers. That's jobs. We can't all possibly become vegetarians."

She also says hunting fees go back to preserving wildlife and keeping the animal population under control, reducing starvation and sickness. However, PETE believes there is no excuse for hunting or wearing fur. Byrne says, "With all the fashionable, affordable, durable options that are available now, that are totally cruelty free, there is no excuse to be wearing bits and pieces of animals skin."

Today's protest against wearing animal skin and cruelty to animal's in general, is part of a tour PETA does around the United States.
