FORT HOOD -- A pre-trial hearing will begin Wednesday in the case of Maj. Nidal Hasan on trial for opening fire on Fort Hood killing 13 people and injuring 32 back in November of 2009.
Both parties will go on record before Judge Col. Gregory Gross to litigate pending motions brought by defense.
The newest motions concern if defense should receive expert assistance at government expense for a forensic pathologist.
Other motions may also be filed by either side for litigation.
The judge may also put other matters on the record at the hearing.
