LIMESTONE -- The pregnant inmate who escaped Falls County Police Thursday is back in custody.

It started when 21-year old Brittany Quigley was being transferred from Limestone County Jail to Falls County.

Limestone County Sheriff, Dennis Wilson, says she tried to jump out of the officer's car so the officer stopped and grabbed her.

Quigley broke lose and ran into a wooded area.

Wilson says they called out attack dogs to find her at first, but had to switch to a track dog after getting word that she was pregnant.

Quigley was found four hours later when a resident spotted her on his property.

Quigley was in jail for injury to a child, abandoning and endangering a child, possession of marijuana and burglary.

Wore charges will be added after escaping
