November 3, 2010 — "By local people, 4 local people." Red C Television's tagline sets the stage for their first Killeen casting call at Central Texas College there. The event will take place in the school's LBJ Auditorium Friday, Nov. 19. Local actors, drama students and anyone else interested in participating in one of Red C
Television's TV series are invited to audition. "We're looking for men and women ages 18 and up for paid roles and non-paid roles in our upcoming productions," said Chris Cox, one of the producers. Shows
will air on Fox in various markets throughout Texas, including Fox 44.
Red C Television shows include "Cowboy & Lucky," an action series currently in production that will air on Fox 44 in January. The show stars Russell Clay and Chris Cox in the title roles and features all
local talent and venues. Previous episodes can be viewed for free at RedC2.com. Cox noted that the series starting on Fox will have higher quality video and audio than that seen online. Red C also produces the only game show in Central Texas, “Living Room Wars,” currently airing on Fox 44 on Sundays at 10 p.m. roduction for season two starts early in 2011. “It’s a mix of your favorite home games with a Red C twist,” said Cox. Red C is looking for participants and teams for "Living Room Wars" as well.
"We're excited about our event in Killeen and look forward to seeing the talent there at CTC," added Clay who is also a producer at Red C. The casting call on Nov. 19 is from 3-7 p.m. in the LBJ Auditorium at Central Texas College in Killeen. Text questions to (254) 307-2898.
