BRYAN -- The future of Saint Michael's Episcopal School is looking better than everyone originally thought.
Last week, Fox 28 told you that the private school may have to shut its doors indefinitely but since then, the outlook is much brighter.
In about a weeks time, more than $40,000 have already been raised.
And while the school needs approximately $550,000 to stay open through the end of the year Rick Kellogg, treasurer of the Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools, told parents and faculty he believes there is enough money to stay open through the end of the year.
School officials tells us they're continuing to do everything they can to remain open.
