Temple under mandatory water restrictions
TEMPLE -- The city of Temple is now under mandatory water restrictions.
Over the last three days the city has consistently pumped over 24 million gallons of water per day, triggering mandatory water restrictions.
All water customers are required to only water twice a week on designated days.
Those with a street address ending in an odd number can water on Saturdays and Wednesdays and houses with addresses ending in an even number can water on Sundays and Thursdays.
The city is also asking residents not to water between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
