TEMPLE -- Police are still investigating a one-vehicle crash that left a Temple woman dead.
Just after 8 a.m. police responded to the accident in the 21,000 block of Southeast H. K. Dodgen Loop.
It is believed the car was traveling south on Loop 363 when the driver lost control of the vehicle, struck a guardrail, passing over train tracks and hitting concrete walls several times before coming to rest.
The woman suffered injuries to her upper body and head and later died around 9 a.m. at Scott and White hospital.
There was a male passenger who was not seriously injured.
