COLLEGE STATION -- college station residents beware.
the start of a new semester is right around the corner and that's when it becomes next to impossible to go out to eat without a wait and the line at the grocery store nearly doubles.
And this year, A&M students can expect to see more freshman on campus than ever before.
Admissions counselor, Jon Buchanan said, "We're going to have about 8,200 freshmen show up on campus which will set another school record for the largest freshmen class in school history and about 25 percent of those freshmen are the first in their families to attend college and the other under-represented populations continue to grow as well."
Buchanan wants to remind everyone be careful when driving around town and with more than 50,000 students showing up over the next few days, he also recommends you give yourself plenty of time to get to and from work and school.
