COLLEGE STATION -- As if college wasn't expensive enough, President Loftin wants to increase Texas A&M's tuition for the 2013 fiscal year.
In a meeting Wednesday, President Loftin recommended a 3.95 tuition increase which will help pay for staff and faculty merit raises.
If the board of regents approves the increase in May the proposed tuition hike would generate roughly 16-million dollars in revenue.
