Two arrests in car crash that killed infant

TEMPLE -- Two teenagers in Temple have been charged for a car accident that killed an infant and injured three others.
17-year-old Kevin Michael Rogers of Bell County and 19-year-old Erik Mungia-Trejo of Temple were arrested today and charged with two counts of the second-degree felony offense of racing, causing serious bodily injury.
The two were racing down Old Highway 95 when they crashed with another vehicle killing a 6-month-old baby and seriously injuring the mother, father and 3-year-old sibling.
Mungia is at Scott and White Hospital but will be taken into custody once he is released.
