WACO -- Police are still investigating a body discovered floating in the Brazos River Wednesday evening.
Around 6 p.m. police received reports from two homeless people who found the body of 22-year-old Joshua Frank Campbell near the Franklin Avenue bridge in downtown Waco.
Campbell was reported missing by his family on Tuesday and police were able to make a quick ID of the body.
"Some of the evidence at the scene the individual had a billfold and identification on him that helped us in, ID of the victim. The family reported him missing, they had reported him missing before, so it wasn't the first time, but we don't believe there was any foul play," said spokesman Sgt. Patrick Swanton.
Police say his body appeared to have been in the water for four or five hours and they're expecting more details pending autopsy results.
