Waco high names new principal

WACO -- Waco high school has a new principal in order.

Waco ISD trustees approved current Cesar Chavez Middle School principal, Alfredo Loredo to make the move to Waco high.

The position opened up two weeks ago after Clarence Simmons took a job within the Fort Worth ISD.

Loredo said in an interview with the Waco-Tribune Herald that he plans to focus on dropout and completion rates, but will keep some things the same like on campus lunch and dress code.
