Temperatures remain below freezing, and winds up to 32 miles per hour, continue to move through Central Texas.
The Texas Department of Transportation started pouring sand on the roads last night, which helped road conditions today, but they're ready to work late tonight too. With slight flurry's coming in and out of the area, officials say it could get worse over night.
Jodi Wheatley, with the Department of Transportation, says "if we get precipitation over night, we'll probably have a really tough situation in the morning."
If the weather does get worse tonight, expect icy roads and more traffic tomorrow. The TX-DOT says to be careful driving, don't follow too closely, and go easy on the breaks.
