Woman charged with trying to smother baby faces charges in Waco
WACO -- A mother accused of trying to smother her baby in a Fort Worth hospital is now facing charges in Waco.
18-year-old Shantaniqua Scott received a 25 year sentence in Tarrant County. This after surveillance video caught her trying to smother her baby in the hospital.
Now she is back in McLennan County for charges stemming from a Waco hospital where Scott is accused of harming her baby even before the Fort Worth incident.
District Attorney Able Reyna told Fox 44 she faces two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of endangering a child.
