Lampasas PD arrests murder suspect

A 22-year-old man is now in the Lampasas County Jail facing a murder charge for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation on a rural road in Lampasas Sunday morning.

Bobby Ray Stratton, 22, is accused of fatally shooting Curtis Lee Shed of Copperas Cove, 43.

After the altercation and subsequent shooting, two of Shed's associates drove him back to the Town Oaks RV park in Copperas Cove where his body was later found.

Stratton is believed to be the shooter.

One of Shed’s associates, 30-year-old Frank Muns, is being held by police on a prior warrant while they sort out details of the shooting.
