Copperas Cove ISD will use "bad weather days" to make up for missed school

Copperas Cove ISD students will be using "bad weather days" to make up for lost school days at the end of last year due to bomb threats.

The school district asked the Texas Education Agency to waive the three missed days of school on December 12 through 14. However, the TEA only waived one day. The other two days will be made up on February 18 and March 29.

The series of bomb threats, which began in early December, are still under investigation. Several threats lead to evacuations of school campuses and cancelled classes.
