ROBINSON — Robinson voters narrowly approved a tax hike that would help budget shortfalls in the Robinson ISD.

It would be an increase of 13 cents for every $100 dollar home valuation. The rate increased from $1.186 to 1.316.

This is the third straight year Robinson ISD has adopted a deficit budget.

The vote tally was 238 for and 228 against.
