Waco high school students will still be required to take health and computer classes this year.
Last summer, a bill passed that eliminated the state's health and computer requirements, along with reducing physical education requirements to just one year.
State officials say, it's to give students the opportunity to take more elective classes.
There are three different graduations plans.
So far, the change has only been made in the recommended plan.
School officials say, they're waiting for the change to happen in the other three plans.
