WACO - Waco planning officials say they hope to build pedestrian friendly medians extending the entire length of Valley Mills Drive.

It is part of a 15 item road project list presented by the Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization.

The median project is a top priority item behind only Interstate-35 construction.

The project will cost an estimated $10.1 million.
