WACO — Time Warner Cable will be closing its call center in Waco eliminating 45 jobs.

Spokeswoman Stacy Schmitt says the company is closing the Waco and San Marcos call centers to merge them all into one center in Austin.

Local employees have been given the option of moving to Austin or accepting a severence package.
