Waco, Tx — If you're looking for a way to give back, especially during the holidays, you might want to consider becoming a hospice volunteer.

Southern Care Hospice in Waco is looking for individuals with a wide range of talents, including those who can spend time with patients, handle clerical work, or even assist with speaking engagements. You can volunteer as little as two hours a month or as much as two hours a day.

"If you sign up for the volunteer program and you make your commitment to being a volunteer, then going out and being with those families and these patients, they depend on you," said Southern Care Hospice Regional Clinical Coordinator, Tammy Barton.
