Jury finds Waco man guilty of capital murder

A jury has found a Waco man guilty of capital murder for a March 2011 shooting that left two dead and two injured.

Ricky Cummings received the verdict around 1 p.m. Friday, after jurors deliberated for nearly three hours.

Cummings has been on trial for two weeks. The March 28 shooting occurred at the Lakewood Villas apartment complex, located at 1601 Spring Street in Waco. 17-year-old Tyus Sneed and 20-year-old Keenan Hubert were killed and 20-year-old Dontrae Majors and 22-year-old Marion Bible injured.
 

The punishment phase is set to resume Monday morning at 8:30 a.m.
