WASHINGTON - Former Vice President Dick Cheney was released from a Washington hospital Wednesday morning, his office said.
A day after it was determined he had suffered a mild heart attack, Cheney left George Washington University hospital and his office said he was “feeling good.”
“He will resume his normal schedule shortly,” they said in a statement.
Cheney, 69, was admitted to the hospital after complaining of chest pains. He has now had five heart attacks, his first in his 30s.
He had an automatic implantable cardioverter defibrillator implanted in 2001, though, and has appeared in good health recently.
