The continues to spread in the Gulf of Mexico, but officials still are giving it their all.
The fire hasn't been an adequate match for the oil, so British Petroleum is working on other options.
One plan involves a dome-type chamber system to capture the leaking oil.
The dome approach was used in the 70s with little success, but experts say they have made serious improvement over the last 40 years.
Officials have also tried burning the oil, robotic sub-marines, and even diverting the Mississippi in an attempt to limit the oil disaster.
Currently no oil has reached the Texas coast, but experts believe it could happen within the week.
