Killeen Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 4800 block of Ridgehaven Dr. today, March 8, 2012.
Officers responded to 4813 Ridgehaven after receiving a 911 call telling them someone had been stabbed. Upon the officers arrival they located a male and female who were stabbing victims and another male in the front yard.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the female victim and the male in the front yard (estranged husband and wife), had been involved in a domestic dispute over the telephone. The male kicked in the front door to the residence and stabbed the female inside as well as another male also inside the residence.
The male victim was able to escape through a window and asked a neighbor to call 911. The male suspect then left the residence and laid down in the front yard.
The male suspect was taken into custody at that time and the weapon was recovered.
The female stabbing victim was transported to Scott & White Memorial Hospital by ambulance in stable condition. The male stabbing victim was airlifted to Scott & White Memorial Hospital in serious condition. The male suspect was transported to Metroplex Hospital for treatment for an injury to his hand.
The names of the victims and the suspect have been withheld at this time.
This case continues to be investigated and information will be provided as it becomes available.
