A rock slide at Cameron Park over the weekend is being blamed on cold temperatures and rain.
A large chunk of the 80 foot cliff collapsed, blocking off the Brazos river trail below lovers leap.
Officials say it happened because water got into crevices in the cliffs and expanded, causing the stone to split.
Officials are still wondering how they would clean up the mess without closing the trail permanently.
No injuries were reported.
